This isn't a hot take. I just think that some of you forgot. Chuba is healthy now, and it makes a damned difference. The right back is under contract for the longer term.

I think Hubbard is really good.  But there is a reason you have never seen Chubba do in his career…..what Rico has done multiple times this season. I think Rico is better.   And if you stack his starts at the end of Dallas through to when he got actual opportunity to be the lead dog here, it’s just better than Hubbard’s production.

Rico did his job when Chuba was injured, but he needs to be the RB2, not the RB1 (and his body isn't built for the pounding anyway if we look at history).

Nah they’re about even overall, different skillsets. Dowdle capable of doing more with less which we’ve needed at times this year.

I think that's possible even with a rotation.

We need both healthy though. That hasn't been the case at any point in this season.

Dowdle ain't been doing poo between the tackles when other teams commit to the run. Chuba can at least fall forward. At least

Chuba had 1 good game out of a 13 week season cut it out. 

He definitely has the fresher legs at this point.

But Rico was still almost as productive as Chuba was in his best game of the season.

this is why they just need to lean on the back who’s playing better THAT game.

Call me crazy but I got a gut feeling that Trevor would have a bunch of long runs as rb2 behind either. He always has that extra gear. Good problem to have...
