Bryce Slinging Dots Downfield

The defender on the ball side of the WR with no safety help is the equivalent to a practice throw with no defender in terms of the throw itself, which is what I was saying.  That is a throw where the QB is supposed to just loft it for the WR to run under for the catch, as long as the QB doesn't choke and way short the ball, the DB has no bearing on that throw, just like a practice throw with no DB at all.

And the same goes for the T-Mac throw as well, no safety help with the defender on the ball side of T-Mac.  All he had to do was feather the ball over the top for T-Mac to run under.

And I'm not bashing the throws, he made a 100% perfect throw for the routes and where the WRs and DBs were on those plays.  But making even a perfect throw doesn't mean he was "slinging dots downfield", it means he made a 20 yard lofted pass with the proper touch for the WR to run under it, something any NFL QB should be able to make.

He gets full credit for making an accurate throw in the clutch, I've said that numerous times today.  But superlatives like "slinging dots downfield" is just crazy nonsense for what the throws themselves actually were.

Ehhh I feel the Tmac throw was a bit underground.... he has to slow down and wait while catching it behind him... luckily he has 4 yards of separation so he had room to spare

The defense was not perfect at all today.

Do you realize Matt Stafford was the MVP front runner with 30 touchdown passes and only 2 interceptions before our defense got to him?

Not perfect indeed, but this year no team has done it better

5 games without a turnover, the defense has surprised me a lot this year. Second to last in sacks, yet still getting the job done, impressive.

Yet had it not been for some amazing plays by the defense, we would all be looking at this game saying Bryce Young squandered away some golden opportunities, like the pass that was too high for Tremble, or taking a sack on the long drive in the 3rd quarter.  I'm glad he played well.  I really am.  But it's true that a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while.  Bryce Young is the primary party responsible for nearly all of our losses this season.  I have no reason to believe that he won't come out and lay an egg after the bye.

Somebody has to be on the other side when it’s 99% haters on here right? Do yall really wanna just get on here and furiously masturbate together over your hatred for the guy?

I’m with you 💯 Bryce had a great game but pride won’t let any of these haters give him credit.

Bryce had a great game or Bryce had a great game for Bryce?

I think the key here is everyone doesn’t operate on the Bryce scale.  Nor should people have to

We just beat the best team in the nfl and some of yall still throwing personal shots and obsessively hating on our qb still.

He can’t throw the ball downfield? He’s proved yall wrong over and over. Stay mad haters, he’s gonna be here for years to come

He had open WRs on man coverage on his two longest throws.  Congrats to him for make throws he should make.  The simping for  a guy for a doing his job is absolutely insane.

For all but 2 plays he was treated like a 3rd string QB that game…we t

and Canales has been consistently doing one thing all season…..call deep shots on 3rd/4th and short….because it’s about the only way Bryce can get a big play he feels comfortable attempting.  Man coverage with a team playing the short yardage.  And it’s still worked out bad all year.   Law averages comes into play on that playcall and now it’s a “great game”
