He was the Jags DC under Gus Bradley during their "Sacksonville" years.

Would love to have Bradley too honestly, and he's certainly connected with Canales. But he's got an AHC title right now in San Fran so he likely couldn't be interviewed as a DC.

Wash has been coaching way longer including five years as the Jaguars DC. Cooley's only been coaching at the pro level since 2020.

(I know that doesn't always mean a coach is better but I'm more comfortable that way)

Mind you, Wash has typically run a 4-3 scheme so it might mean some adjustments.

Hot take.  Eviro is definitely a bad dc...however I don't think he'll be a terrible hc.  I think he is a commanding presence and he can be an effective hc as long as he let's his coordinators handle things.

I doubt either of them get head coaching jobs.  Evero has the best chance, but barring a deep playoff run, I really doubt it.  I think he walks and takes another DC job next year.

Hard to say. It's a different skill set. 

Some of the league's greatest coordinators were sh-t head coaches. Likewise, some mid coordinators became great HCs..

Really hard to predict...

Evero is no longer under contract once this season ends.

Basically, whether he gets a head coaching job or not, we likely have a different DC next year.
