Doesn’t matter how much the team grows if the qb is still 5’3.

In his defense, we've had taller QBs in recent years that actually accomplished less.

I've always said his height worked against him, but he was out there pretty fearless and performing well on Sunday. Not setting the world on fire, but there were a couple of fantastic throws he made.

He didn't lose that game for us.

It's over (and has been since the preseason). We might make the playoffs because the Bucs are also ass, but we are going to get beatdown Pats/Bills style in the 1st round of the playoffs if we do somehow make the playoffs.

Outside of 2 fluke wins against the Rams and Packers, we are honestly no different from last year.

Two fluke wins against playoff calibre teams. You get into the playoffs and well, things happen sometimes.

We were supposed to be one and done in 2003.

It's year 2 for Canales who inherited a 2 win team missing draft picks and with some bloated contracts and now we are 7-7 in mid December.  It's ahead of his schedule for the turnaround IMO.  7 wins was the goal with next year being the playoff push.  Bucs sucking with injuries made us in the playoff hunt so us fans got our expectations up.  There are still a couple ways for us to win this division but honestly we aren't a playoff team yet.

And likely to have a new DC next season

The bucs struggles have definitely helped us. The only reason we are in the playoff conversation is because of how bad they've been.

Wanting Canales out is an interesting opinion. Hard to look at this and think he hasn't done a good job. I do think he needs a really good offensive assistant he trusts. Someone that either specializes in managing games, or calling plays. I do think he has too much on his plate at times. He struggles sometimes with balancing both roles.

I think Evero has done a great job. Everybody is going to complain, but we've done a poor job of roster building on that side of the ball. We have no pass rush, and no inside linebackers. That's a heck of a combo.

Yeah he actually played solid.  People will get hung up on the total yards his YPA was good enough, he avoided some sacks and made some plays.
