Bryce Young is the first Panthers QB to throw for 20+ touchdowns in a season since Cam Newton in 2018.

I am all for drafting/Signing a FA to compete with him.  That said, it doesn't mean he's automatically going to lose the job.

Meltdowns are coming because IMO they are going to exercise his option.

I have no doubt they're going to exercise his option. I also have no doubt Dalton will be back and we won't even try to improve our QB room because we're good there and Andy is a good mentor for Bryce.

DJ Moore, Robbie Anderson, CMC?

Wild statement.

Depends on the windows….Teddy had it good in 2020.  After that?  CMC largely hurt and you find stuff like

PJ Walker won games with Foreman as his RB, TMJ as his #2 and Shi and Shenault as the #3/4.  Sam did too.

We played the Saints last week and the best QB on the field was a 2nd round rookie.   We punted 4 straight times in the 4th quarter as the Saints came back to beat us.

fantastic?  I wish someone would share the official Bryce Young grading scale so we could understand it

How many games did we lose where Cam didn’t play well and the opposing quarterback outplayed him? It happened a lot. It’s the NFL that’s how it works. Sometimes it’s your day sometimes it’s not.

Let’s not act like Shough hasn’t been playing well, and like he wasn’t throwing wide ass open passes the entire 4th quarter. He had a much easier defense to play against lol

QBR today of 72.3

Last week vs Saints 73.6

vs Rams 84.8

At Atlanta 73.8

Bryce has played fantastic last 4 of 5 games

I'm not so sure about Dalton.  After watching the Green Bay/Chicago game yesterday I would love to see Willis brought in for competition.

The claim was Bryce Young was fantastic last week vs the Saints.  I said no.  Not sure what your post is trying to argue by saying Cam played bad sometimes lol

Wild statement.

Pretty sure Darnold and Baker had literally a bottom 5 oline in the league.

I know looking at weapons is fancy but there are several examples of QBs winning without out them. Supporting cast means whole team because it matter.

Very few if any examples winning with an abysmal oline.

Also, Matt Rhule.

Not going to argue who had it better but I wouldn’t say it’s a wild statement.

I would have loved to have seen competition at the backup position brought in last year when Dalton wasn't even under contract. There's a reason it's not done. Ask yourself why Jack Plummer was brought back to camp after a horrible showing in 2024. There won't be another QB capable of taking the starting job should Bryce get benched for another slow start.

Calling Bryce Young fantastic vs the Saints is some of the ballsiest trolling I have seen.  I’m to eat on that note.  Panthers get a win and you guys really go to work lol

He’s the best QB we’ve had since Cam, Darnold and Baker were both horrible in Carolina with much superior supporting cast.

Darnold had a superior supporting cast? I’d like to see him with this group and Canales. He would have 35 TD’s.

There's a straight line between the loudest Bryce Young fanatics and diminishing Cam Newton.
