I would guess because it wouldn’t align with the conservative management.  We are taking our rare deep shots in advantageous scenarios….to big WRs.  

Bryce historically puts balls on dudes and often creates jump ball/contested scenarios at high rate.  Ball placement remains spotty.

Horn is tiny.  Likely not a a very good WR yet in terms battling through contact down the sideline and having to deal with a potential contested catch vs bigger defenders.  If it turns into a jump ball scenario the dude ain’t going to morph into 89.

But when people say, Bryce Young doesn’t go downfield…..this is what they are referring to. 

He goes downfield less than every starter in the NFL…..minus 1.  And high odds he likely made a move out of last place the last 3 weeks

I don't buy that - not saying he can throw it on a rope, but he can get enough air under it for a Hail Mary.  Bryce will never be like Cam who used to throw lasers, he requires throwing more with anticipation.

How many passes have you seen that were not completed due to a lack of arm strength? I mean I get he doesn't have the strongest arm in the league, but this narrative that he can't throw the ball 50 yards is ridiculous. Now can he throw it 40 yards on a rope with a defender at his feet? I seriously doubt it. But those QBs are a rarity. Not the norm.

I think it's skewed by the first half of the season.  They seemed to have opened it up more in the second half.

And if you’re having to throw it 40 on a rope that means you were late as hell to recognize it 

Whatever arm strength BY lacks he makes up for it with his ability to throw with anticipation 

People act as if there’s these broken plays every game where these QB’s throwing it 60+ yards with a high success rate or something

50 with ease

Saw someone tweet how Bryce is averaging 265 ypg for the last 5 games. But the Falcons game heavily skewed the numbers. Remove the falcons game he is at 181. Removed the Falcons and Arizona game it is 160. 
If we intend to ever compete for a SB with Bryce he either needs to find some secret sauce to get those passing numbers up or we develop an elite defense that can drag the offense to the SB. 
QBs of SB winning teams averaged 200+ usually. This isn’t the 1970s where you could win a SB with your QB barely throwing over 100 yards.

It was 40 and he said past 50. We have already not attempted or had Dalton out to try a Hail Mary because it is obvious the coaches know he can‘t do it.

The ball was thrown 50 yards. If you can’t see that then there’s truly no helping you 

And if you ever been to a game you’d know Bryce warms up working his way back to the 50 and launching balls to just inside the end zone
