Never personally torn a bicep, but everything I know about that injury points to him not returning this season.

True enough but medical procedures a have been rapidly advancing and you would have to think he has access to the best doctors, therapists, etc.

So is it the same as it was ten years ago? 5 years? I don’t know but would think the possibility exists that they can fix and rehab it.
I mean, I have seen him get pushed around before so am not calling him Superman. But just say that maybe a guy goes down this week, you never know, our depth is pretty thin. If he could be available we would certainly be better off.

It still happens a lot in strength sports.  Its typically a pretty devastating injury.

I would think it is. Devastating. Torn apart main muscle….
I am not trying to be inflexible or to put him at an elevated risk just wondering where the medical boundaries are compared to 5 or 10 years ago. If they have changed.
Generally you need to protect the player from himself.
