I’m Frustrated. And Yet, I’m Proud

Ok, definitely NOT what people on this place want to see or hear right now, but I’m proud of the progress the Panthers have made. We’ve won more games than any other year since 2017, which was over half my life ago. While it wasn’t much, the wins over the Packers and Rams gave me that special feeling that I hadn’t felt since Cam.

Obviously there is still much to be desired. We had a losing record this year. A few of the games have been completely unwatchable. But it’s good to see progress after years of backtracking and stagnation.

I'm Frustrated I didn't get to sleep in time, was up the first quarter (but didn't watch). But I'm proud to know I have nothing to do with whether we lose or win. btw, my boy(falcons fan) had me up until gametime...hoping  karma (the refs not letting us replay down) bites tomorrow.

There was no expectations for this team, so enjoy the honeymoon phase while it lasts. There will actually be expectations for next year and idk how much we'll improve by. You can't count on winning all of the close games we did next year

Ummm we were 7-4 in one scores after today regression to the mean is losing one more basicy

Ummm we were 7-3 in one score games after today's loss...

Wins- Miami, Dallas, NYJ, GB, ATL, LAR, TB. That equals 7..

Losses- Cards, Saints, Bucs.  That equals 3

They even showed a diagram on the broadcast that we had the third best record in one score games. Get your facts straight before you talk out of your ass.

I'm not proud of a team who choked 4 times to get to the playoffs. Yet another losing season under Tepper and we're about to extend one of the worst QBs in the league.

That's the biggest take away that I get. Panthers had 4 opportunities to win this division. Even when Tampa was gift wrapping it to us. That's the most frustrating thing. Who cares if we beat GB, and the Rams? We also lost to the Bills 40-9 and the Patriots 42-13, so what does that say? We couldn't beat the Saints ONE time, and that's all they needed. All we've proven is that we cannot win games that matter the most, which honestly, is most games.

Progress? Some. Proud? Not at all. I hate anything mediocre at anything and this fan base has been too accepting of being mediocre.  It's sad AF.

DC should be fired and honestly he's one of the worst gameday managers I've ever seen in all my time being around football. How dudes like him even get a HC job boggles my mind and really drives me truly believing in white privilege being blatant sometimes.  No other logical reason for DC to be a coach in the NFL, he's terrible at it.

Say what you will about Belichick but that fuger was one of the best at gameday managing, gametime adjustments and finding mismatches.  I have never seen that from this coaching staff or Tepper teams.  Those things single handedly win you games other than the players executing properly, which is also the HC job!

If people are proud of this team than I would hate to think what other things in life your willing to accept.....

Yeah I am so proud that we had what, 6 or 7 “championship opportunities”? WTF does Canales call them?

Every week we’d have one, every other week we’d lose one, but somehow this ridiculous logic would have us right back in that championship opportunity saddle.
