Falcons coach is out

He actually  had them respectable  to finish the season. Hate to see a guy win and lose his job no matter the division  but it's the life of sports.

Yeah, sticking with Penix probably cost him his job. They probably win the division with Cousins.

Giants - Open

Titans - Open

ATL - Open (Morris is out.  ATL rejoices)

Potential Outs:

  • Vegas - Pete C is and done?
  • Browns - Stefanski likely out?
  • Tampa - It's not pretty there
  • AZ - Is Gannon safe?

Safe

  • IND - Steichen confirmed, is deservingly safe IMO.
  • CIN - Mike Sherman's son-in-law soinds safe yet again for CIN (rumored/yikes)
  • NYJ - Glenn is all but confirmed to get a year 2 given the terrible QB situation

Any sleeper candidates?

He was a bit of an odd choice. I know he had a run there as an interim, but I don't think anyone had Morris on the head coach list. I think generally the impression was he was a better coordinator than the head guy.

Too bad. We probably don't sweep them next year.

I think Pete is done. But he will find some way of coaching whether HC or not, NFL or not.

Bowles just signed an extension and still has the support of Arians who is their power behind the throne.

Stefanski likely done, but does have support in locker room.

Schefter thinks Gannon is safe but idk.

I think they hire Joe Brady. Idk why but can totally see it.

    • The lack of discipline has seriously been our downfall the last month. Seems like we just went off course this last month and Lee won't address it. You can't just live and die by the 3 when you can attack the paint and at worst draw a foul
    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
