I mean Cam not jumping on his fumble might have also had something to do with us losing..

I show up to the huddle on a cold dreary Tuesday morning and this is what I find. From our own damn fans.

We had the opportunity to take control of that game late into the fourth quarter.

I mean for all the talent we had on the team. Kony fưcking Ealy was in position to possibly become the MVP of the game on our end if we had managed to regain control. That is despite the franchise cornerstone players we had on the roster at the time. If that doesn't tell you that it was undoubtedly a collective loss on both the players AND the staff I don't know what will.

Have a good day ya'll.

I will never blame our loss on Cam, allegedly, not jumping on a fumble. Our offense had more issues than him. Heck our defense missed an easy INT at the start of the game that would have set us up in the good field position. Our offense was, surprisingly, not that bad in the game. We moved the ball well, but we just kept shooting ourselves in the foot when we got rolling. Kinda reminds me of the Rams and Packers game. Two teams that lost to us because they kept making mistakes not because our defense could stop them.

We beat ourselves in Super Bowl 50.

I mean your making my point. We love to make definitive statements, like "RR was a bad coach" or "Cam cost us the Superbowl" when really there is much more to that.

Am I? Maybe I’m just using a little more logic than blaming one play against the player carrying our offense? 13 Qb hits and 6 sacks, this isn’t including the pressures Cam avoided getting hit with his legs. Do you think that MAYBE those 13 plus plays affected the game more than a fumbled (caused by pressure) that wasn’t recovered by our QB?

What’s Ron’s record without Cam as his primary QB? 26-40-1. Yeah Cam’s play was the issue, not Ron…

There have been Super Bowls where someone could say a single play might have lost the game. But "the fumble" in SB50 is not even remotely an example of such an instance. It's knuckledragger mentality to suggest so.

I would argue the team seemingly getting caught up in the limelight of the week leading up to the game itself and the glaring stubborn lack of adjustments doomed the 2015 Panthers. The league itself and the refs also clearly did not want the Panthers winning either. People just have to reconcile with that and the result. It's been a decade now.

Yeah man. It was ominous. I don’t how to find all the interviews from different platforms but Cam really bothered me that week, as I remember it.
He was way past confident, in my eyes. I thought he had the attitude that the game was just a formality, it was like in his mind he was already picking out what hat he would wear to DisneyWorld. I was cringing at it, it is not what you want to see from a guy not named Joe Namath leading up to the biggest game he had ever played in.
At least that’s how I remember it. Bright lights big city, they lost focus.
We had the better team hands down, and Denver just plain smacked us in the mouth.

Having Thomas Davis trying to play with that arm the size of a football wasn’t helping either.
