It just confirms the majority of the huddle don't know ish when it comes to QBs. Imagine now if CJ had the same adversity as Young in his first year...(I do mean playing for a coach who sole purpose became to prove you wasn't his pick).

Ultimately CJ Stroud is a bust it's the Texans problems. Although it must be pointed out they are one of the bottom 5 or so teams in salary cap dedicated to the OL.

But the folks doing victory laps dancing on the grave of his career while carrying water for Bryce at every turn cannot be taken seriously.

Stroud has played as many games as Bryce Young but he peaked early. He had one of the better rookie seasons in awhile.

Bryce Young has played in 46 games and honestly other than one record setting game against the Falcons in a dome has never looked as good as Stroud did as a rookie over the course of a single season. It's always one step forward followed by two steps back. And we are certainly at the crossroads where the days of hitting the reset button every time Bryce has a marginally better performance after shitting the bed entirely the week before because the guy is set to get $26.5 million guaranteed. Perspective is important here.

Agreed, but doesn't change the fact he is wreckless with the ball. I'm not knocking him for taking sacks or being pressured into bad throws by Houston.  They do that to everyone.

Love the kid for how good he was at Carolina, despite incompetent coaching, so I'm pulling for him. 

But he's got to protect the football better.

Ryan Clark made a good point that the offense around CJ isn’t helping him at all. There’s no running game, his top receivers are out, the pressure is heavy. But he’s making rookie mistakes. Gotta bench him.
