The Raiders as an organization are certainly dysfunctional to say the least but it sounds like what ultimately got Pete Carroll canned (blind loyalty to his favorites) are the same things that led the Seahawks to say thanks but no thanks after seeing that for years.

As for Evero I haven't seen anything from him that would indicate he is a great evaluator of talent. Without that he's doomed in LV.
