A few things here.

I have been the biggest PFF defender on here for years but the last couple of seasons they have completely and utterly embarrassed themselves with some of the rankings they put out.  Why that is I have no clue but in the past it was much more detailed.

One has to be an absolute moron to watch football and actually think Bryce is the best deep ball thrower in the NFL.  I mean you have to be velcro shoe level moronic to believe this.  However I bet this will be rampant on Twitter and I bet dollars to donuts my favorites mac and bone bring this up tomorrow and do an entire segment on it.

But again, you have to be a special level of stupid if you actually believe this.   The kid barely threw for 3000 yards and some folks are celebrating like its Brady in 2011 throwing for 5000 yards

Dude. . . ease up on the Velcro shoes . . . you'll get old someday and see them in a totally new light. 😉

Ain't even all about getting old. My work boots have the knot pre tied. All I gotta do is pull em tight, flip 4 times and I'm done. 5 seconds and my shoes are tied. Don't matter if my hands are hurting that day or not. Ain't velcro yet, but I Ain't ashamed I'm getting closer.

No problem with downplaying this but if he was ranked as the worst deep ball thrower, everyone in here would sing PFF's praises all day, every day.

I think probably because it'd be more believable than this. Most of us have watched every single Bryce snap of his pro career. Bryce is one of the last QBs I'd be confident in when it comes to having to make a big clutch throw and push the ball down field. Nothing against him.

Lmao dude was scared to throw deep all year unless the guy was wide open. I can’t stand the pats and think drake maye is insanely overrated based on playing terrible defenses all year but that first TD he threw in the SB is a pass Bryce just could and would never make. Stafford, Darnold, Mahomes, even Maye. Those guys are legit deep throwers. Bryce ain’t.

Big Time Throws are not even fuging deep balls by their own definition ffs.

I have to say, the two against the Rams in… December? Those were big time throws.
But they count a little out in the 2nd quarter as a big time throw. Equally.

When I saw the graphic about this I thought I was looking at the sports section of the Babylon Bee, I got a good laugh out of it. So thanks for that.

I go back to it again, they call a 20 yard pass a deep ball. In the gamecast world, you will read about TD passes from 16 yards being deep. It’ll say Marino to Duper complete deep 16 yards TD. How can one live in such an insane world?
