76/89 rated OT. I’m hearing people say he’s one of the worst OT’s they’ve seen

He surrendered 11 sacks in 465 passing snaps.  Last in the league (89/89).  Raiders OL was dogshit.

Camp body, swing T best case scenario.

Look at the sacks and the pressures.  I have seen Walmart greeters stop more people.   image.thumb.png.1094e119f6e0d792c13461c7b7353f97.png

I haven’t seen that reported anywhere legit

Let's hope so.

But for arguably the worst OT in the league even league minimum is too much.

He supposedly has slow feet.  Good run blocker (decent).  Are they going to play him at reserve guard?  I hope so.  He was playing RT in seattle, fwiw.  Maybe depth behind Moton if not G?  Swing T?

I can tell you that I heard OL coach Gilbert works specifically with tackles.  Someone else works with the guards and someone else works with centers.  (Sorry to be so specific).  Maybe he sees something in this guy he can fix.

Not a good sign. My guess is Yosh and maybe even BC are both gone. I was really hoping we’d retain Yosh and let him start at LT till Ekwonu comes back

Almost guarantees we go OL in the 1st

It could be replacing BC (and Nijman) as a backup swing tackle, if they are really promoting Nijman.

And don’t mistake me for big Nijman fan or a little one, but if they were really going to use him they would pay a pretty reasonable price to keep him, would they not?

And what we have seen says they aren’t chasing the top FA tackles so I would say they think Nijman will be that guy.

I hope they don’t compound this poo and make it worse.

They will sign another Tackle. Dan has said they will go into the draft without holes.

The question will be:

1) Do they sign a Christensen or Nijman back and target a tackle in rounds 1-2.

2) Do they get a Walker or Decker and draft a guy in 5-7 for depth.

They probably have a tentative offer into Nijman but are swimming for the fences with Eric Decker. This all seems to be setting up for a first round tackle though

They need to retain Yosh, hopefully Forsyth is just a depth piece

Just based on profile, I read Forsythe's addition as a likely swing tackle behind Ekwonu or whomever they draft early in April.

The #Panthers enter Wednesday with only Ekwonu and Moton under contract at the position. Wouldn't jump to conclusions on this one (not same at Fortner)

“Correct. This is a depth move, IMO. Exclusively right tackle last season, exclusively left tackle the season prior. A mix of both early on in his career.”

“Swing tackle/FG unit, experience on both LT/RT in a pinch. “

“Already the designated week one LT starter if Ickey’s out? I’d be reluctant to read minds, but I’d also be reluctant to answer yes to that question.”
