Styles and downs makes too much sense but it's the Giants

A Giants beat reporter suspects it may be Styles and Tyson in a perfect world.  It sounds like Tyson is going to be one of those picks (probably the 10th pick) if he is on the board.

Christen Miller will be their pick in round 2 if on the board.

Mirror the Goff/Stafford trade...Bryce, two 1sts, filler.

Burrow 2027, make it happen.

Not when he'll be damaged goods by then. Maybe lop off a first for it.

It would be really interesting to see what kind of trade Burrow would get the Bengals in return.

As it's very different than the Goff situation, where the Rams didn't think he was going to take a step to the next level and it was why they moved him for a QB ready to win immediately.

If the Bengals move Burrow, it will be because he asked out (which is why they made the trade, they need immediate all pro level impact as they're afraid he'll want a trade if they don't contend soon again), and/or because he just can't stay healthy.

Because for as good as Burrow is, of his 6 seasons in the league, half of them he missed significant time which derailed the Bengals seasons.  If that happens again in the next year or two, it really could/would limit what teams are willing to give up for him.

This tells me that they are going all in the next 2 years for a SB and if that fails they will be moving all their stars

LOL.  I love the Bengals.  Shemar Stewart in the draft, let Hendrickson walk, give a fat old NT too much money. Sure why not a super bowl.

Cinci feels like Carolina when we had Cam. We didn't prioritize protecting Cam. Cinci has done the same with Burrow.

At least the Bengals have no money because they've put it all into weapons for Burrow. They can't protect him and they can't stop anybody on D but at least he has weapons until he ends up on IR behind that trash tier OL.

When we had Cam it was like we pretended the offensive box was checked because we had Cam who could lead the team in rushing yardage and rushing TDs while also playing QB so we could spend all our resources on D.

At the end of the day, the end result is the same. Your franchise QB ends up beat to poo and you struggle mightily to win consistently.

I didnt say they would win, they just recognize that they have 1 maybe 2 years to do something with this core

I know. I just think it's funny they consider this a window since they locked up Burrow and the two WRs. If they even made the superbowl and got blown out, that would be a minor miracle.  They aren't making the superbowl with that squad.

The GM and coach know the end is near so might as well throw a hail mary and see if Lawrence can right the ship on defense.  For 2026 there probably isnt a guy at pick 10 that will contribute more than dex.  Past that who knows

That's what hit me hard, you have a legit 18 per year sack artist and he brought that for years along with heavy pressures etc. I mean take Hendrickson off the team, they are below Panthers in sacks, pressures, hurries, etc....he's that much of a impact. You don't want to pay him when the market is exploding and you got great years on the cheap. Get rid of him and now you want to pay a guy who just had his worst season and played heavy AND he's 30..........two years ago, he was the top DT not named 99, lots changed and now you want to give away the 10 which is perfect spot to get your elite QB some OL help. Mike brown needs to sell the team, them and jets, circus central....glad panthers are not there, besides the joke of QB room.....
