The "now it's been three years" Grade for the 2023 Draft

C- for Bryce? You're being VERY generous with that grade.

Bryce is 14-30 as a QB and has statistical been one of the WORST QBs in NFL HISTORY! And if not for Dowdle going on an historic tear and strong defensive showings last year, his record would be even worse.

Going all out for a QB in 2023 was an incredibly dumb move. It didn't matter who they drafted, he was going to fail here. Adam Thielen as your best pass catcher for 2 of 3 seasons is a recipe for disaster. No explosive RBs, WRs or TEs in any of his seasons. And an o-line that needed league leading cap just get to a little above average.

BY has been an F if judging by all 3 seasons. No doubt about it. 2023 was so bad, it brings down every year since. But by year I would give an F- (if that's even a thing) for 2023. C- for 2024. C for 2025.

Honestly I think a little more speed on the team serves him well. Remember his rookie season, he was overthrowing Mingo and Marshal whenever he went deep early in the play. And he was used to smaller but faster guys at Alabama. He seemed to lose confidence after that and turned into a dink and dunker. Well that and the o-line getting him killed if he held the ball too long. We'll see if he continues to trend in the right direction. There's at least a glimmer of hope now.

Scott Fitterer was so bad, man.

I dont want to admit it, but I almost feel bad for Frank Reich.  Looking at that roster and how poorly managed Fitterer was...my fuging god, literally no one was succeeding in that situation.  Just looking at that roster, like its such absolute dogshit.  We're MILES ahead of where we were back then.

year 4:"all he needs is........"

All he needs is 4 all pro receivers and Rob Gronkowski at tight end with at least 4 pro bowlers on the o-line.  We can never know if he has potential if we don't surround him with the pieces necessary.

An NFL lifer who played QB. I could never see him approving of drafting historically tiny Bryce ‘While We’re’ Young. No way no how.

I wish the inside story on his time here could come from his lips, but it won’t.

It will never happen but I would totally read a Darin Gantt, Richard walker, Mike kaye (or someone connected) book about the 2023 season including drafting bryce to firing reich and Fitt

We know the story. Tepper hired Frank. Frank thought he would get to pick his guy after the trade. Tepper overruled him because of a play broken down over a sald. Frank got pissed and didnt GAF anymore, Dave made him sign NDA and paid him millions to go away.
