Well if thats the case thats awesome. The only tweets I see are those where he is going somewhere for whatever reason.

he was working out with the guys last week actually, which is what caused all those "I'm so out of shape" comments that came out.

Okay, so you're Matt Moore.

Where are you on draft night?

In a bar watching your future hopes and dreams come crashing down on you, IF we draft Clausen?

I would imagine MM was doing the same thing I was; watching the draft eagerly awaiting a WR in the second, then throwing sh#t at the tv when they called Clausen's name. Then going to the bar and thinking about your teams immediate future going down the drain.

Literally what I did. I broke the remote. The hotel charged me $120.

Who said he should be studying and playing all day? I don't care what he does, he'll probably suck regardless, but he hasn't picked up a football in 5 months to my knowledge. J Russ was the same way. If I made myself look like an ass my entire rookie year I would be in the weight room almost everyday. Not in the Bahamas one week, Spain the next week etc.

what a load of poo

He'll probably watch it with friends and/or teammates, after a day of rehabbing his foot/shoulder and studying film and the new playbook.

That goes for both Clausen and Moore. They're both already professional QBs, and will probably behave like it. There's no sense in worrying about who might be the next professional QB on the Panthers, and I'm sure they both know that.

Don't have a way to watch film, and certainly no playbook to study....CBA.

He is probably working out, and trying to stay in touch with the teammates that are actually on the team. Not worrying about Hurney making a mistake at the top of the draft.

He can study the 2011 opponents, and he probably has an unofficial playbook just like every other QB out there. Moore too.

    • Coker has certainly earned it. Good for him.
    • I don't think we don't call things aggressively, for a Canales offense, anyway. We don't have a QB who makes aggressive throws nor stresses defenses downfield. He is at a career low on 20+ attempts per game and his career 10-20 QB rating is abysmal.  That will always be a limiting factor IF you are looking for a high flying, downfield offense. I am not even that concerned about it, I just want to see effective offense and we decidedly do not possess that. A large chunk of that is Bryce. I think the second biggest chunk is Canales. All the other components(XL included) are fairly minor in comparison to those two things. I am an advocate of attempting to improve at QB. I am not focused on finding "The QB." We failed at that with Bryce. So let's just get better. If that's a one year vet or a draftee or a cheap trade or some combination of any/all, we should do that. We have to get that QB better. Bryce will fail in 2026 and we need to have REALISTIC options to take over when that happens. That ain't Andy Dalton or Hendon Hooker or Jack Plummer or Mike White or....you get the picture. Be serious about hedging that Bryce bet and not just having to make do if he struggles or gets injured.  My mind is definitely made up on Canales. It's year two and he hasn't improved much, nor do I think the bones of a good HC are there. Ron Rivera got to that point after two seasons and he was open about the changes he had to make and advice he got to make that leap in year 3. If we don't see the same after next year, how is he not just Brian Daboll?
    • Not really buying it because T-mac faces stiffer competition week in and week out.
