Panther/Steelers game time thread

I don't understand how an ex QB is not more cerebral about the WR position. He watched his WRs for years before and after the pass. How can he be clueless about body position and contact?

I know what you mean, though I have to say while there has been improvment it seems like a snail's pace. At this rate he may be a FA by the time he's semi-rounded out.

I'm a smartass to the core, you'll have to get over it.

He's watching multiple things, not studying WR technique and mechanics.

By your logic great QB's, particularly those with a lot (notice that's two words) attempts should be good WR's by default and that's just ludicrous.

Never said that and don't put words into my mouth. what i am saying, however is that a QB knows down and distance situations BETTER than his WRs. Therefore if he were to ever BECOME a WR then he should know where he needs to be and at which position he needs to manuver to get there. The rest is learning route running, blocking and more of the subtlties of being a WR.
