Any news on Brandon Hogan?

Has anyone heard on the progress of his rehab? Last i read he was running around in training camp. Haven't heard much else. We're definately going to need this guy to contribute with how thin we are at CB.

Also, any idea what CBs are on the chopping block for other teams? I know this subject is getting beaten to death :frown2:

only thing I've heard was from a fan (forget who) saying he looked speedy and quick at TC when he was rehabbing.. not sure where he's at with all that..

I have big hopes for him though..

I'm hopeful he can be back within another month or so. Everything I heard about his rehab sounds promising. Still, they're not going to rush him back. I'd rather have a 100% Hogan for 8 years than a 75% Hogan for 1 year, then he tears it again, and he's out for over a year.

Look at what happened to Marvin Austin. If you're out of football for a year, you need to take time getting back into game shape. Until then you're more likely to get hurt.

HE can run, sprint and cut just fine the thing that they are trying to do is prevent re-injury such as what happened with thomas davis.

Hopefully he makes a speedy recovery. Some people seem to think William Gay is the odd man out in Pitt. They have some young nice talent. Any interest? He only seems just a bit taller then Captain though and doesn't come up with alot of INTs.

I rather him take the year off, not re-injure himself. Get ready for next season. Unless he's ready to go this year mid season and the docs believe he's ready to go, then hell yeah I wanna see him on the field this year. I just wouldn't want him to pull a Thomas Davis.
