Patriots fans pretty happy on Butler Release

One of the comments said that he loses it when he has to run with a WR. NE was mostly in man coverage. Here, he should spend most of his time in zone coverage. I think the asholls in NE and in NY rode him hard. I think he lost his confidence. Maybe he finds it here. If not, we lost...nothing. NE lost a second rounder, which makes them feel more sensitive about it.

rookie season he showed promise. year 2 he never seemed to recover from the bad start - think the fanbase jumped on him and never let up after that.

It really boils down to the arrogance of Pat's fans and their expectations.

No, it's all about homers.

"HAHAHA, good luck with Richard Marshall, Arizona!! LOLLLLLLLLL!!! He sucks!"

"Sorry, Pats fans, you can tell us Butler sucks all you want but he just needs a new team, some different air to breathe, etc. Now that he is a Panther we truly believe he has the chance shine. You all are wrong about him even though you've seen him play for two years now."

    • Number 9  Carolina Panthers  Bryce Young, the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, produced career highs in completion percentage (63.6%), passing yards per game (188.2) and passing touchdowns (23) in 2025. However, those numbers aren't exactly stellar by NFL quarterbacking standards. Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down. He threw for the third-fewest passing yards by a quarterback to make the playoffs in the last 20 seasons, per CBS Sports Research.  FEWEST PASSING YARDS BY QB TO REACH PLAYOFFS, LAST 20 SEASONS (MIN. 16 STARTS) PASSING YARDS PLAYOFF WINS 2012 Christian Ponder (MIN) 2,935 0 2008 Joe Flacco (BAL) 2,971 2 2025 Bryce Young (CAR) 3,011 0 2006 Steve McNair (BAL) 3,050 0 2019 Josh Allen (BUF) 3,089 0 Young did deliver some high highs, like when he threw for a franchise-record 448 yards passing in a Week 11 overtime win at the Atlanta Falcons and when he went toe-to-toe with Stafford in the playoffs in a 34-31 defeat.  Kenny Pickett couldn't win the Cleveland Browns' quarterback competition a year ago, and Will Grier is a career backup. • This is why we need the Bank of America Stadium Ballroom.
    • That thread has all the huddle legends either posting in it or mentioned in it. I remember everyone of those folks and I truly miss seeing them post here. This place was so much better with them here.
