Chud's problems can be easily fixed. He started calling better plays on our last FG drive, but he has to do that consistantly and start running the ball more and calling better plays in the red zone. I think the play calling will improve as the season goes on.

Dear lord it didn't take long for people to start this poo up did it? I feel like some people on this board have a weird selective memory and forget that we have a whole new staff, new system, and didn't have a full offseason to install it. It's quite apparent that they devoted more time to the passing game than the running game with the time they did have.

Lose by 7 against the super bowl champs, Cam has a record day, Smitty had 150 yards, etc. Play-calling isn't the issue. The run game just can't get going. If it can't get going against the Jags then and only then will I be worried.

Best chance for our run game is to use the RBs to block for Cam.

You don't think that would physically punish the play makers too much? I don't mind seeing Cam extend plays with his legs, but I'm not a huge fan of plays designed for him to run. That's what RB's are for, and we have several of them.

You're playing a Tom Brady offense when the guy only has one NFL game under his belt. He's got very clear potential for greatness and they're setting him up for failure by making him the entire offense for no fuging reason. We have two better than solid backs.

And even with making him pass every down, bootleg on 3rd and 1, and all the mistakes, he still brought the team a TD away from the champs. If they keep doing this they're wasting him.

to install run plays. Chud is great with the pass plays but we can't pass every down and especially in the Redzone. We kept D. Will and we still got J. Stew and M. Goodson. Let's run it, or at least send our backs out to the flats more or continue with screens.

If they don't start running the ball more, they'll surely lose Stewart when his contract is up. I'd be featuring Stewart more now, since he's a better fit for the new offense than Williams.
