Kealoha Pilares

Didn't see this posted, but thought ya'll would enjoy this article on a receiver that is still in the battle for no. 3.

He’s the team’s kickoff returner and one of a handful of candidates for the No. 3 receiver position. A versatile breakaway threat, he’s run back kickoffs, caught passes and even run end-arounds to ensure his spot.

“When you’re in the NFL, any way to help the team out is my mentality,” Pilares said. “Coach always talks about knowing your roles, so I have to just go out and look for ways to help out the team.”

i think he's alright and i love that he got that return for a TD last year, but i've never quite understood the love that many have for him in here.

i hope he lives up to people's hopes.

Well, I can't remember him being involved in any overly bad plays last year, so he's got that going for him.

I myself started a thread about the difference between kr and pr trying to figure out how to

get Adams to do both, cut Pilares, and keep another receiver.

Then I read he was 7th (?) in ko returns last year, or something like that. As much

as our special teams stink, he may have been our best player statistically. Probably

should keep him.

If you subtract his fluke 101 yard TD return he's one of the worst in the league

Yes you're right that one 101 kick off return is what made him 7th in the league. You're right.

still better than anything armanti has done ever.

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats win it all or at least get there. Maye is awesome.
    • Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October.   Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
