You guys remember the time where I was all like "hey, things probably aren't going to be the same way they were last season" and you guys were all like "bro, why you scared to be cocky bro? We got Cam and swag and stuff."

Why did this surprise anyone? Anyone with any semblance of intelligence should have expected something like this. As much as I hate the loss, it was good for the team. We needed it desperately. We were way too high.

The offensive line was crap. Chud's playcalling sucked. D-line got ran over. DBs let VJax get open all day. McDermott sucks. RR didn't prepare the team enough and was outcoached. Hurney doesn't know how to fix the defensive backfield or get a good DE opposite of Charles Johnson.

We lost it sucks but it was a tough game. Seasons not over and we see what we need to work on.

We are gonna have to work on our run game for the Saints*.

The defense played well enough to win. Tampa got a td to start the game, and no more. The only score they got in the second half was due to a blocked punt. This one is squarely, 100% on the offense.

The oline was terrible for most of the game. Runnings didn't do anything, but thats mostly on the oline. Cam didn't play well either. The receivers did ok, but didn't get many chances.

i said it last year. feel free to reference my posts. we consistently get outcoached. why do you think special teams sucks and our D has made no improvements. O def regressed for this game at least. RR better get a fire under his ass or he can join J Fox and the rest of the uninspiring panthers coaches

      The same folks crying about the OL right now were crying about it in 2023 too. We have tied up over 100 million dollars in two interior olinemen alone and we have Taylor Moton inked to a recent extension. We've invested multiple first and second round picks in the offense. We hired an offensive minded head coach. This is an offensive team. The offense needs to produce or people need to be replaced.

      This is the same place that has ridiculed and blasted Caleb Williams at every opportunity he has his team sitting at 10-4 in the same NFC that the Panthers are competing in. And their division in the NFC North is as or more competitive as our division. Yet from the same people who have very high standards for Williams we get every excuse imaginable for the smallest starting QB in the league even when he and his team continue to disappoint when the pressure is on. You lot aren't any less inconsistent than anyone else.

      The Panthers are 9th in cap spent on offense this year.  However next season is already a different story  The Panthers as it stands right now will be 18th in cap spent on offense and 8th in cap spent on defense  The Panthers are currently set to spend more on defense next year than they are on offense this season Guys like Jaycee and Moehrig cap numbers take a big jump. Wharton has a massive cap hit   Jaycee Moehrig and Wharton in 2025 The same 3 in 2026 So this same defense as it stands right now will cost more in 2026 than this offense does right now… Got anything else you want to try?
