Panthers to ink Quintin Mikell?

we're certainly a team on the rise, and in a much better position to succeed than StL. If being part of a great D, and having a chance to go deep in the playoffs consistently matters, then we shouldn't have any problem peaking his interest.

just saying.............

Stl. will be much better this year and a Jeff Fisher D isn't a bad place to be.

Get this done, Gettleman. An instant band-aid on the secondary; not a long-term solution, but having a guy like this back there last year would have at least won us the first Atlanta game.

I think he would have won us 2 or 3 games last year.

1. 1st Atlanta game

2. 2nd TB game

3. Chicago game

Quintin is by no means a long term solution, but a heck of alot better than what we have right now. I would sign him for a year or two, but I wouldn't over pay.

At least the local beat writers are on top of keeping us updated...no wonder there is so much sports apathy in Charlotte.

Just too much ignorance by fans actually.  Usually these leaks come from the free agents side to try to drum up interest.  A local beat writer would not have the connections in many cases to get an inside scoop.  The Panthers management has never been one to leak discussion info.  What more do you want local writers to do?  They aren't going to become puppets to free agents because that would just make them look stupid.

They don't have anyone who can score points, I don't see them being much better than us.  Who knows, maybe Bradford will finally make it happen there.

StL has been 'on the cusp' for years.  When it comes down to it, though, but hasn't been able to get over the hump.  Maybe Fisher can turn them around.  We'll see.  But...they still don't have anyone who can score points.
