What number did my son choose for football this year?

My son graduated from flag to 7-8 year old tackle football this year. Coach SCP & Co. had our boys choose their numbers last night at practice. It was totally up to the kids to pick. My son? Eighty fuggin Nine because of Steve Smith. That boy has been raised right.

I'm one of the coaches. If he picked 43 I would have had him running gassers til midnight.

my son had to record a video profile for this upcoming season, and despite switching from wr to cb (where he should have been all along) and being a saints fan to boot...he said steve smith was his inspiration.
