Sweet mother of god, Kugbila is practicing today

the thing is he's been trying to get back in. he hasn't been allowed. i've seen several comments from him saying that he's just waiting on the word.

with otah, it was always him and essentially him just not "feeling right" but kugbila has just been chomping at the bit to get back in and active in as much as he was allowed.

glad he's finally getting put back in.

i think it had more to do with the OL doing so piss poorly that they are finally putting him back in rather than the cuts putting a fire under his arse.

COngrats on the promotion, bro!! That seal on the right and the stars --I find myself agreeing with you and seeking your approval.

Well deserved!!

Hopefully maybe somewhere down the road but I can't see him being any help anytime soon. You throw him in the fire to soon and you will really be watching Cam getting his ass racked up.This guy is probably a long way away from being NFL ready. Let's hope that he can make the jump, learn the system handle, and handle it mentally and physically.

I just read on twitter that RR will wait until after the Steelers game to determine if they need to bring in any lineman. If this is the case then he must be blind in one eye and can't see out the other. There is no fricken way that he can think that he can go into the season with what he has. What is the last preseason game gonna show him that the three previous haven't? I have a lot of faith in DG and I doubt he would let RR screw the pooch like this.

There won't be many if any good players available until the 31st regardless. I'm sure if someone of value is released for the first round of cuts they will be aware.

lol

He is only saying that so the current guys are ultra motivated.

There is no way we aren't bringing in linemen.

There may be a few decent O-linemen released. But not nearly enough to go around. There are more teams needing help than linemen being cut. We will have to get extremely lucky to get ANY help from cuts.

We have to hope that Kugzilla is ready to get his feet wet. Mental reps and a few practices are going to have to be enough to get him up to speed. If he knows the playbook, got his reps in, and has the mental edge needed, he may just be better than Williams. He is a beast of a man. Maybe that will be enough.

The cynical among you will say no, this ain't gonna work. The rest of us will say, hey, maybe this kid is for real. Some kids do come into the league ready to perform. Hopefully, Kugzilla is one of those.

    • Per Bill Barnwell  Broncos part ways with a CB on the roster bubble Broncos get: 2026 seventh-round pick Panthers get: CB Damarri Mathis The Broncos have a rare problem among NFL teams: too many cornerbacks. ESPN's Jeff Legwold projects they could move on from Mathis, who was very good as a rookie in 2022 before losing his starting job after the defense's slow start in 2023. He played just 27 defensive snaps after Week 6 that season and 80 more across 10 games in 2024. With the Broncos using their 2025 first-round pick on cornerback Jahdae Barron, they could justify moving on from Mathis, who might not be active on game days even if he sticks around. Mathis' best season came with defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero in Denver, and he hasn't been able to reach those same heights since Evero left for Carolina. The Panthers are set with Jaycee Horn, Mike Jackson and nickel corner Chau Smith-Wade as their three starting corners, but Mathis could push the 28-year-old Jackson and serve as Carolina's primary reserve on the outside. Mathis is owed $3.4 million in 2025, so Denver might essentially buy a draft pick by eating some of that cash, similar to what the Commanders did when they sent running back Brian Robinson Jr. to the 49ers.
    • They can get fuged for a 6th and 7th. Doesn't make sense for us for anything less than a 4th and them paying a majority of his salary.
