IIRC Jones is one of our better STers as well, can't see him getting cut

FWIW, the second of Jones's picks the WR fell down. The first one was an overthrow and he was playing over the top coverage.

 

But I did like the way he took the second one straight back up the field at full speed... no dancing or looking around for a place to go... just straight up the field.

We will have to field  a special teams unit.  Jones makes the team if for no other reason.

I'm a yes on Jones, great hands! Caught it with his hands and then tried to do something with it. Russel sorta had a wide open lane to the QB, but he did look like he was shot out of a cannon.
