Hurney never really should have been given a GM position. As far as true experience as a talent evaluator, he had little to none.

That's not someone you put in charge of shaping your roster.

Still feel somewhat sorry for the guy. He would have never been a great GM, but with a better owner he could have been serviceable to good.

 

The draft trades were all Marty, but the 2010 season and the stupid loyalty contracts (Delhomme, Williams, Stewart, Beason) were Jerry East.

The second anyone makes a valid critique about Richardson you can count on someone coming on and have a dramatic teenaged "I GUESS HE'S JUST THE WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD" meltdown.
