Roster changes?

...Ron Rivera doesn't change!  ...he will still call a timeout to allow the opposing team enough time to kick a field goal at their leisure.

This! Worst moment in the history of football coaching of all time. Two years ago against the Aints, still hurting when I think of that moment.

Williams to IR and a new lineman seems obvius, but for the rest I expect nothing to happen.

DWilliams looked nicked up as well

Don't know if I'd say 'nicked up' but I would say he looked like a guy who was used to splitting carries with another primary back and who suddenly found himself carrying the load largely alone.

Fox had a close up of his face right before that last play where he fumbled started. He looked exhausted. I told my buddy that was concerning.

Then when it happened, oy :(

That might be #1 but a close second is throwing a hail Mary instead of trying a 50 yard field goal to end the half against I think the Bears last season.

Bench Thomas to the last CB spot. Cut Munnerlyn 'cause he sucks no matter where we put him now. Start D.J. Moore, Melvin White, or James Dockery beside Norman. I actually thought Dockery should be the one starting beside Norman in the offseason. Sign a couple of competent OL too.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting the same result.

This isn't necessarily directed at you, but I constantly hear people say that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result, when in fact the definition of insanity is:

1 : a deranged state of the mind usually occurring as a specific disorder (as schizophrenia) 2 : such unsoundness of mind or lack of understanding as prevents one from having the mental capacity required by law to enter into a particular relationship, status, or transaction or as removes one from criminal or civil responsibility 3 a : extreme folly or unreasonableness b : something utterly foolish or unreasonable

Just wanted to post on something that irks the hell out of me, and again, not directed at you personally fatty mcfatcat.

Not taken personally Monsta. Extreme folly or unreasonableness sounds about right.

does captain really suck that bad or is it the zone coverage breaking down because Wilson bought more time legitimate question? How was the rotation for our cb's figured you could mix and match that group like our dline? other then that i agree with everyone else get some oline help, and someone to play ST the right way

#2 is also fitting for this team at times. Lacking mental capacity to do poo.

I'm such a schizophrenic fan. I did not handle yesterday's loss well (see melt down post in game thread). There's times I feel like we could be close to having something, and then the other times I feel like we just keep circling the toilet bowl. It's agrivating.

    • Yeah lol well the interest isn’t really about seeking stimulation.  I wanted to see how actually bad it was.  And how much of it was women setting him up to be their cash cow.  That is the stuff that leveraged the Panthers into David Tepper’s hands. It is important in that sense.     The worst that I have heard is that he got them in the car and clumsily reached across to help them with their seat belt and made contact. With his arm. That was probably his big slick move. And I can almost guarantee he wasn’t rejected every time. It is easy to picture that action bringing his head close enough to the woman’s head to where he could go in for the kiss if he thought he got the green light.    I really don’t care if JR was a horn dog. We heard all our lives up until the last few years that one of the perks of being really old is that you can flirt with the young women and it is not just tolerated but expected. So he was keeping a tradition alive at some point 😂
    • Well I rubbed some dirt on it and am still here just not optimistic about the future of the QB position. Even what I had accepted as a ceiling raised to an acceptable level turned out to be a bit of a mirage, upon rewatch of the WC game.  Good plays were there yes, but some pretty bad ones too that the good ones late in the game kind of obscured. I have to downgrade that a little.  Especially after rewatching the last 4 plays. I remember the arguments about he did his job the WRs didn’t but that was really just that last muff by Coker I think it was on our final offensive play.   To the future: I know what my level is for paying him and recommitting, but I don’t have any confidence that the team shares my high bar.    But thanks for the pep talk
