Cardinals lose three defensive starters yesterday

Two Linebackers and a Safety...

"According to Darren Urban of the team’s official website, the Cards will place linebackers Lorenzo Alexander (Lisfranc) and Sam Acho (broken leg) "

Also their starting Safety lost his finger....yes, you read that right, he took off his glove to find the tip of his finger still in the glove. He had to have emergency surgery and lost the finger down to the first knuckle (roughly an inch or an inch and a half). He will almost certainly not play us in two weeks. how the hell do you lose your finger in your glove?!?!?!

This actually happened to Wesley Walls in the 1st half of a game in Atlanta. He was out the remainder of the half. Went in at half time and got doctored up and game back after halftime and played the rest of the game.

How do I know this you ask? I sat next to Wesley's grandmother during the game and was invited down to where the players leave the locker room to meet their family. Awesome experience I'll never forget.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but Todd Bowles is the Defensive Coordinator of the Arizona Cardinals. He is arguably the worst DC in the NFL. He was the interim DC for the Eagles after Juan Castillo got fired and the Eagles were giving around 30ppg under him. Cam had 358 total yards and 4TDS ( 2 pass, 2 rush) against the Eagles on MNF.

The eagles have a new defensive coordinator this year, and they still suck.  They are giving up 29 points and 440 yards a game.  Sometimes, coordinators get to much blame/credit.  Might be that they have relatively untalented personnel.

    • Just stop, man. All the college stats don't matter. Plenty of guys who put up big numbers in college flop in the NFL and you and I both know that there are 1st round and top 10 busts every year. While we definitely hope T-Mac isn't one and we hope he proves to be a great NFL WR, you can't assume poo about a rookie who hasn't played a down of NFL football yet.
    • therein lies the problem.  Carry on
    • Again, it's not about performance, it's purely a statement about his ability as a football player. Which right now, is better than Chark ever was, I don't understand how that is a controversial statement. This isn't someone who had a 1,500 yard season with a dozen touchdowns while being a threat the other team was afraid of on every snap.  It's literally a guy who had a couple good games and then was just peppered with targets in the others because the team had no other viable WRs and he still barely cracked 1,000 yards, and then was barely even a JAG for the rest of his career outside that one season. Just look at it this way, take names aside, you're saying a guy who's peak was 1,008 yards and 2nd best season was 706 yards, was a better football player at that time than a WR who was just taken in the Top 10 and had multiple teams trying to trade up to get them. That's beyond asinine thinking.  I'm genuinely not even sure Chark would make the argument himself if he was being completely honest and objective about it.
