I'm sitting in the ER was hit by a drunk driver, then tried to run me over.

Drunk driving isn't a problem in this country. We need to focus on real issues, like people owning firearms. That's the real epidemic.

I feel like poo today but will survive, last night was horrible when I was getting Xrays my back started spasming and I locked up couldn't move,.

 

1. The bitch was charged with her 3rd DUI. 3RD DUS and Habitual offender

 

2. The bitch has no car insurance

 

3.The bitch was so drunk she was denied a bond hearing this morning so she goes again tonight at 7pm

 

4. I'm screwed.

 

I'm just happy my kids or my grand baby was not with me when this happened.

They should start holding the stupid judges who give these people their license back legally responsible for them.

There would be more "denied, take the fuging bus" and far less "hell what could it hurt" being handed out.

You're not screwed, my friend. But you do need to consult with an attorney ASAP. She may have no auto insurance, but I would be willing to bet she has homeowners... you see where I'm going.

Please talk to a lawyer- a civil suit is still a possibility.

Homeowners insurance won't help you in a car accident. If she had an umbrella policy it would...but without auto insurance, I would not expect her to have an umbrella policy.

You can sue her, but prob won't get anything from that turnip.

I'm so thankful that 2 ladies saw this and followed the drunk bitch and got her plate numbers. The officer handling this just called and said that they arrested her. My head, back and neck is killing me. .The officer believes she was doing 60 when she rear ended me. .

Stupid drunk ass drivers should be executed.

 

This isn't meant to be a troll post, but I assume the person who hit you was a documented citizen. Hopefully you find some solice in that. Get better!

talk to a lawyer. You aren't screwed and you have rights. There's PLENTY of attorneys that would be willing to take on a case like this. It's basically an opn and shut case.

No one is saying he would not have a case. Just that it is unlikely to collect anything from her...assuming the no insurance thing would infer that she has few assets.

Could be wrong though.

He could at least put a "lean" on her. But a habitual drunk driver with nothing better to do than get blackout drunk on a Monday night prob doesn't have much going for her. Sadly, sometimes its more of a burden on the victim. I'd at least get a lawyer and have them do some digging.

      I feel like this trade just lives rent free in people's heads and keeps morphing into different things. First thing is that the rumored trade was for future firsts. They wouldn't have any extra picks in 2023; the firsts would have been for 2024 and 2025. With very few exceptions, NFL GMs don't value picks that far away. You have to have a lot of job security to pull that off. Like Chiefs, Eagles, Rams kinda stability. That's obviously not the case with David Tepper, especially since he'd just fired his head coach. No GM except for like Howie Roseman is going to trade an asset you have now for a future asset you probably get to use.  Second, at the time you'd have to assume these are first rounders late in the first round. Obviously currency is currency and the panthers need young players, but these weren't slam dunk top ten picks. At the end of the day there's one pick that separates a first and second round pick.  Lastly, the only place that ever reported this trade was the Rams. All the reporters just repeated what McVay said and it became gospel. We have no idea how serious the negotiations were, if they ever really happened, if the offer was real, etc. And I personally believe McVay and Sneed are the kind of guys who would make up rumors like that to fug up other teams, mostly because I assume if I've thought of it someone smarter than me has.  I don't know how you'd call it the greatest draft haul of all time. Firsts quickly lose their value the farther out they are and Burns had 16.5 sacks last season. And anyway those picks would probably just been tossed into the burning inferno of the Bryce trade up so it's a moot point anyway.
