Domenik Hixon...It's Time.

I think its time we incorporate this guy into the offense.  I believe he is healthy now and he was brought into boost the WR corp.  Its time to involve him more. What better way to push carolina into and through the playoffs then to have a legitimate passing attack to go along with the run game and stellar defense.  I think its crucial to get him some reps with cam and get the timing down between the two.

Guest shitposting

I'd rather just cut him and bring in a kid from the PS. All he managed to do last night was draw a holding penalty that killed the first down effort of Tolbert.

issue is he isn't very good

our run game also is vastly overrated.  We don't actually give our QB much of a run game to work off of.......instead our QB makes our overall rush attack look good.

I have said for weeks our rush attack has sucked despite the numbers.  Cam makes it look good.....as far as giving your QB a rush attack to play off?  It is one of the weaker ones in the NFL.

Lol I made this thread real early in the year and got trashed sooo bad

Thats the diff tween us and N.O. If you can catch, you're getting on the field and getting the ball. They had like 10 people with a reception last night. In today's NFL you can never have too many options

If it was me, play Brandon Williams too. It's not just a coincidence we're ranked almost dead last in team passing, that's terrible

Right.  If it weren't for Cam making gold out of doodoo, our running game rankings would be near the bottom of the league instead of top 10.

And Cam having to run is largely due to our WRs that can't get open.  The inability to run is based on a crappy Oline, IMO.

Looking forward to how Gman addresses those two positions in the offseason.

    • We agree here dawg. I'd love for Bryce to succeed as would all huddlers. I have not seen a single huddler hate Bryce for anything other than his play on the field / potential / skillset. He hasn't gotten any of the irrational hate having nothing to do with football that Cam got. And yeah I understood going into this season with Bryce again as there weren't a ton of options, but man we missed the fuging mark on upgrading at backup QB with someone who could actually push Bryce. Bryce had zero pressure on him with a 100% washed up Dalton being the only other NFL caliber QB in the system. That absolutely needs to change this offseason. Ideally with an actual starter upgrade but that seems extremely unlikely due to not having many FA options and a bad draft. But at the very least with someone like you mentioned, young/upside and/or day 3 pick in the draft.   Another note, we have a top paid and top performing OL, great young talent at WR incl. likely OROY, great RB group, average all around TE group, offensive coach with creativity in the system and good play designs (poor situational playcalling but still I put out current offensive coaching staff over Shula who held Cam back for instance). Not the absolute best situation for a QB to be in, but still a very good situation around him. And yet we have a bottom 8 offense (6th lowest points scored). Imagine taking a victory lap for a QB leading his team to the 6th lowest points scored in the league and the 22nd highest passer rating (despite being asked to do less than many other QBs; i.e. Bo Nix who isn't great either and has a slightly lower passer rating but Sean Payton actually lets him try to throw the ball deep and has him throw significantly more than Bryce). Crazy
    • similar to Atlanta and the NHL.  Atlanta has lost two NHL teams (and lost a minor leaguer).  Now there's another coalition pulling together another proposal for Atlanta to get an NHL expansion. While I'd like hockey to be back in Atlanta 'cause hockey is fun, I am skeptical that it'll happen based on previous teams' experience here alternatively: similar to Atlanta hosting a Major Tennis Tournament in advance of the US Open every mid/late summer.  Aside from the fact that Atlanta is said to be the country's largest Tennis playing city (with both USTA and ALTA, along with a number of side leagues) - playing tennis outdoors in Atlanta summer is miserable *and* they had difficulty attracting players... ticket sales were not good. So the Atlanta Open closed after 14 years.  They just couldn't make it happen, even if for all intents it appears to be massive tennis interest in the surrounding area.
    • So I saw where Luke was doing that show parallel to the game. Whatever it was, statcast something something, knew it would be a good watch. I don’t get ESPN any more but that would be one of the about few things I would watch outside of games.     He doesn’t fool around on the radio broadcast.
