Who to resign?

I hope they just let Munnerlyn go.  Tired of that guy.

Captain is he of the best nickel CBs on the NFL. Since he was drafted in 2009....no one else has more pick sixes.

Not his fault we lack the talent for him to be what he is.....and he stretch him too thin asking him to play outside

Haha...I had to read about 5 or 6 responses before this thread made sense to me.  I was reading it as who needs to resign (quit)...not re-sign as the OP meant.  I was all like...why would you want Mikell, Gross, and Cam to quit.  I'm a dumbass.

Sure he gets you a pick six every once in a while on a bad throw, but he can't cover someone one on one to save his life.  There will be an easy upgrade available in the off-season.  I just hope Gettleman has the balls to get rid of guys like him.  Who contribute on occasion to keep you interested, but provide a huge gap in the majority of situations.  Another area like that is the offensive line, the only person I would say that is safe on it, is Ryan Kalil.  If there is an upgrade available, time to cut bait and move on.

I know...why would you ever keep the 6th best pass defense in the league? Getting rid of Munnerlyn is ridiculous. The guy is the best kind of player...cheap and productive. We play a zone scheme we don't need Darrelle Revis corners. We need great tacklers and an incredible pass rush. Which is exactly why the defense will be kept together.

I expect Gross to be resigned to a cheap deal to help the cap. Hardy will either be tagged or signed long-term. I expect Cam to be taken care of this year...Hardy to be signed long term next year...and Keuch the following year.

Gano, Mitchell, Ginn, LaFell, Florence, Scott and Wharton will be signed. All of them IMO would be cap-friendly deals. They are all better with this team than they'd be elsewhere. I honestly think that LaFell, Mitchell, and Florence would be out of the league in 2-3 years if they tried to go elsewhere for more money.

We'll let Bell walk (and draft an OT early) and I think we try to keep Quentin Mikell if he gets healthy in the offseason and is willing to take another cheap contract. Those are all of the critical pieces I believe.

Not sure why everyone wants these good players to resign, but I really want to re-sign Mitchell. Prob my favorite Dude in the secondary for a while. I would like but not need to re-sign Ginn. Gross has to get the nod because damn it he's a Panther to the bone.

But short answer: Gotta bring Mitchell back.
