Anyway, i guess we'll have to take a chance on the scraps (i.e., Oher).  Otherwise there will probably be only crumbs in regards to free agency.

I'd be fine with that, but who knows how well he'll play in his old age and after the injuries. Might not be much better than Oher.

Man, these LTs are going to some pretty sorry teams for so low a price.  Very twilight zone-ish.  Well, it's starting to look like Byron Bell at LT.

At this point, is it not still speculation?  I think the Veldeheer deal is solid, but lower than I thought.  If we swoop in and add a few dollahs on there, we could have him.  I'm not going to panic until 4.01pm Tuesday.  We are much closer to a Super Bowl than Oakland, Miami and Tampa... and probably ahead of Arizona as well.  I'm holding out hope that we get one of Monroe, Veldeheer or Collins.  DO NOT WANT OHER... unless it's for RT.

Eric Winston has played exclusively RT his entire career. Playing LT for us would be a nightmare.

The draft is still 2 months off, and training camp is 4 months off.
