Well, I was referring to the current OKC team. Who is their generational player? SGA? The Hornets were the ones who drafted him, at #11. And then traded him immediately. And even if he leaves OKC, they won 68 games this year, and are currently 2 games away from the conference finals. So, they've got a chance, which is something we've never said about the Hornets. Even if the lottery was legit, it's just a bad, bad look for the NBA. We've heard scattered "rigged" claims before, but last night everyone seemed to be in agreement. Even Mavs fans.

Round 6, Pick 32 (#208) - Jimmy Horn Jr, WR, Colorado
csx replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm not going to get toooverly invested in him. He played for one of the top passing offenses in college. 4th in yards and 2nd in passing tds and had 440 yds and 1 TD. He was their 4th receiver.. -
I like how you're just completely glossing over our DL situation last year to attempt to drive home your preferred narrative. LOL A lot fewer RBs and off the ball LBs get drafted in the first round and land big money deals in the modern NFL. Get triggered by the word "devalued" if you want, but reality is reality.

Round 6, Pick 32 (#208) - Jimmy Horn Jr, WR, Colorado
Navy_football replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
One or two hits over the top and it will change the way defenses cover, a la Ted Ginn. If that happens early, he'll be on the field often. -
They keep saying things like "the position is devalued". They say the same things about running backs, strangely enough. Then our like of linebackers give opposing running backs the most historically bad defense to run against in league history. It sucks when people who don't understand football tell you how football is played in the modern age.

I think the cameraman in the EDM-VGK game last night learned his camera skills through an internship with the WWE 5-10 years ago. So much movement and zooming in/zooming out that it made the game absolutely terrible to watch. -

IMO Evero will have no excuses for a bad defense. I believe we have depth at most of our defensive positions. -

Well if you are going to take advice from anyone you're not going find anyone better than these two legends. -
XL makes a list of sophomore breakout candidates
DaveThePanther2008 replied to Captain Morgan's topic in Carolina Panthers
After their rookie season draft position has nothing to do with playing time. XL is going to have to fight for it. What I hope is XL has trained all off-season to improve his hands. Best thing is XL can only go up. -
I'm actually fairly bullish on him. He was pegged as a toolsy athlete who was all projection when we drafted him but I thought he did fairly well last year especially given the circumstances.

Round 6, Pick 32 (#208) - Jimmy Horn Jr, WR, Colorado
DaveThePanther2008 replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
While I don't expect him to be a featured WR, I do believe there are going to be some plays designed to have him on the field with TMAC and XL. The possibility of stretching the defense is going to help us whether we are running it or passing. I predict he'll make some chunk plays for us. -

I’d rather play them because they are known for choking. They are very skilled up top obviously. -
I did get some coin in on the Knicks to win the whole thing at +3300 immediately after they won game two and before their odds made a huge shift so I'm not mad at this news. I don't expect them to win but I'll probably be able to cash for a good amount if they make the finals.

Horn and T-Mac will get matched up a lot, but it won't be 100% of the time, nor should it be anything close to that. Yes, it would benefit T-Mac's ability to get better at beating the press, but it would also be a detriment both of them for them to be matched up too much more than 50% of their reps. Neither is likely to end up going up against similar players in games, not many teams have WRs the size of T-Mac and not many teams have CB's with the physicality of Horn. Horn needs to work on covering smaller shiftier WRs as well, just as T-Mac needs plenty of reps against smaller CBs so he can work on using his frame to body them out of position.

Tatum tore his Achilles it looks like. At least watching the injury that's what it seems to be. He's probably out all next year and Boston sucks and gets a lottery pick. :insert eye roll here:
