Jimmy Clausen, QB-

"The Claussenator"

Ingredients-

(2) TBSP Betty Crocker

(1) Slice Sunbeam Split Top White

(2) Thin Slices Vidalia Onion

(1) Kraft Single

(4) Claussen Sandwich Slices

Directions-

Butter one side of the bread with 1 tablespoon of butter. Melt the remaining tablespoon of butter in a nonstick skillet over low heat. Place the bread slice butter-side-down into the skillet, and top with the cheese, onion, and pickles. Cook until crispy and golden brown on the bottom, approximately 2-3 minutes. Remove from skillet and place onto a paper towel. Now, like everyone's favorite QB on a brisk Sunday afternoon, apply pressure to the sandwich until it folds in half. Don't bother waiting for it to cool off, like it's namesake The Claussenator is never cool under pressure. Place sandwich on a small plate and enjoy immediately.

    • Some people will shift the goal posts but he does still have to consistently help the team win, eventually. Not only help but be the reason. That's what franchise QB's do.
    • One of the Carolina Panthers' newest defenders thinks their pass rush can go from worst to first. ESPN's David Newton recently chatted with outside linebacker Pat Jones II, who signed with the Panthers as a free agent earlier this offseason. Jones comes over from an awfully impressive Minnesota Vikings defense—one that ranked first in takeaways (33), fourth in sacks (49) and second in QB pressure rate (44.4 percent) this past season. And despite a historically-bad campaign by Carolina's defense in 2024, the 26-year-old seems to believe his new unit can be similar—or even better—than his last. "I definitely think we could do something similar, if not better," Jones said, via Newton. "I've seen it before, so I know what it looks like. I look around the building and see we have exactly what it takes to do that." https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/05/24/panthers-pat-jones-vikings-espn/83840667007/?taid=683219b347846900018fa10a&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter     It's the offseason.  Let hope spring eternal. (actually, I think we are much closer than this board thinks)
    • 5 total TDs against the Falcons was pretty good efficiency and he showed that ability to go off scripts and get 2 of those TDs rushing.  How many times did he deliver big time throws against pressure.  I agree we need to see this offense operate at high efficiency which starts with Bryce. When he does I hope the goals posts won’t shift to some other stat like QB sneaks lol
