Overall it was an amazing draft for us. Every team whiffs on at least one pick each year, many teams whiff on numerous picks.

Yeah and that's obviously going to happen. But this was a pick that almost everyone was questioning. This guy could've been had later in the draft or maybe even as a UDFA.

oh noooo our 4th round pack didn't pan out :(

I hope Gettleman learned his lesson. That'll teach him to pick Star Lotulelei, Kawann Short, and AJ Klein while also signing Ginn, Mitchell, and Mikell to help set the Panthers up for a 12-4 season that resulted in their first playoff game in 5 years.

Are there stats to back up that claim. I'm all ears.

The only thing I can say is a 4th was high for him but that's just an opinion

 

If valid, it's kind of a Chicken-Egg argument.

 

Maybe the reason guys are going to smaller schools is because bigger ones didn't trust their durability.

We had 5 picks in 2013, and no 3rd rounder. That whiff hurt us a lot more than in most drafts.

 

And remind me how we did in that one playoff game? And remind me who we have starting at LT? And remind me who we have starting at RT for that matter?

 

Naw, he's doing a bang-up job.

      there is one common denominator in the 2003 & 2015 Carolina Panthers teams they both had ELITE top tier Qb play.  it would require a MVP type of season from Bryce Young to have the same type of success that Jake Delhomme had in  2003 & or Cam Newton in 2015 & lead this team to a SuperBowl is this going to happen or is there any reason to believe Bryce Young is capable of playing similar to Jake Delhomme in 2003 or Cam Newton in 2015 ? well no there is no absolutely NO reason whatsoever to believe that this is going to happen in 2026 ..just saying

      I'd actually like to see Cherelus get a fair shot to win the job in camp. Wallace is decent in drop zone coverage, but he gets abused in the play action game and is often times out of position in the run game. It might just be me, but I swear every time I watch Wallace play, I see multiple plays a game were it looks like he's just trying to be blocked. Watching Cherelus last year he at least looked like he was trying to hit someone on every play. Wallace plays like a LB who doesn't trust what he sees and it makes him passive and cautious versus Cherelus who regardless of if his decision is right or wrong goes at it 100%.

      Agreed.  Hasn’t happened to me either, but I feel very strongly about it.  That’s not just one of the worst things a woman could do to a man, it’s a power inherent to only women and is one of the worst things a HUMAN being can do to another.  A man can’t “hide” a pregnancy or maternity.  It’s impossible.  And that sucks for anyone that has to go through that. I always got a weird vibe off her and just found her very unlikeable.  Annoying even.  I’ve always been good at reading people and there was just something about her to me that was off-putting, somewhere under the surface.  And here we are…  she is despicable.
