I loved Smitty but he was from an old regime and wasn't doing well with all the new rookies. Tension can be good and motivating but I think he needed to go for the team to move forward. Really and surprisingly I miss ted ginn more than smith

When I think about great defensive minds Steve Smith comes to mind.  Steve Smith was a great player for the Panthers and I look forward to the day that he retires a Panther. 

 

But that day is not today.  Today he is a future opponent.  Specifically, a short 34+ year old receiver who does not, never has, and never will play defense for the Baltimore Ravens.  He will get his yards and he is still good if not great.  But he is an opponent and plays for the enemy.  So fug him.

 

I think he would not only understand but totally respect this position.
