Suh pissed at Donkey Kong comments

Sean Payton's Vicodin

It was stupid to say. It shows immaturity. Everyone here who blows it off as Cam just being "care free" or "joking around" is in denial. Suh is going to have a big game tomorrow - mark my words. I still don't understand why he thought it was a good idea to disrespect one of the best DL in the NFL (who happens to also be one of the dirtiest players in the league) by basically calling him an ugly, stinky gorilla.

Everyone who is making this out to be something more than it is is in denial.  That, or victims of an uninformed media that wantonly neglects the fact that Donkey Kong Suh was the man's nickname in college.  I guess anything to cast negativity upon Cam will do.

BTW, Donkey Kong was a cool beast, not some "ugly stinky gorilla".  I used to love using him in Smash Brothers.

Suh is a very good player but his reputation exceeds his play a lot of times. He over pursues all the time.

Gerald McCoy is a better player and the Panthers handled him just fine.

Not saying he won't make any impact tomorrow but Greg Hardy is a better overall and more versatile player. He plays DE and DT.

Shula needs to call some screens to catch that douchebag over pursuing. I don't believe given Cam's size he's intimidated by anyone.

Suh as a pro often has more bark than bite. The Panthers will double team and the rest of their line will probably not do a whole lot.

The Panthers sent 2 Tampa players to IR (Claybourn and Jenkins) and 3 more injured (Martin, Mankins and the TE) during last week's game.

You think they're scared of being physically outmatched by the Lions? The Lions need to try to hype themselves up. Fug Donkey Kong. Fug Mongoloid looking Stafford. Contain Megatron, Tate, and Bush

I don't see other franchise QBs or even QBs like Russ Wilson making jokes at press conferences or referring to a defensive player as a stinky, fat, villainous ape,

I wouldn't care if Newton came out and straight up talked junk which didn't.

It's like Mike Tyson used to say, "It's a fight so who cares?"

The Lions are a lot more scared of Greg Hardy than the Panthers are of Suh. They want so badly for the Panthers to sit him b/c they know he can wreck Stafford.

Because they don't have the awesome sense of humor Cam has. Cam has fun. Period. If you can't see that, then you have something personal against Cam.

Also, DK is now a hero in the Nintendo lineup. He's no longer a villainous ape. He's an adored mascot.

I find it kind of pathetic if it takes someone calling a professional athlete donkey Kong to make them have a big game...

    • Saw this show up in my new feed. Nice to see a couple of our rookies making it into the top 5 so far, even if it is a pff measure... From https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-top-15-rookies-week-9-2025 ... 4. TE Mitchell Evans, Carolina Panthers (78.7) Evans struggled in the Panthers’ tight win over the Packers, finishing with a 41.8 PFF overall grade — third worst among tight ends this week. He was not targeted in the game and played only one snap in pass protection. He did log 15 run-blocking snaps, and although he earned a 68.9 PFF run-blocking grade in zone looks (seven snaps), his 39.0 mark in gap schemes (second worst for the week) dragged him down to a 46.6 PFF run-blocking grade overall — sixth worst for the week. Despite seeing zero targets over his past two games, Evans still leads the Carolina tight end group with a 74.3 PFF receiving grade. He has caught all nine of his targets for 90 yards, six first downs and two touchdowns. Evans also leads the Panthers’ tight end group in PFF run-blocking grade (72.2). He has recorded a 20.5% positive play rate across 175 snaps.  5. WR Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers (78.6) McMillan had a better day against the Packers, recording four catches for 46 yards. Most of that production came in the first quarter via two 16-yard catches — one of which he snatched from Carrington Valentine’s hands, who was in perfect position to break up the pass. McMillan accounted for three first downs on the day, although Green Bay was able to limit his impact after the catch, holding him to 0.8 yards after the catch per reception. McMillan now has 41 catches for 558 yards — a top-15 mark. He is also tied for second with 19 explosive gains of 15-plus yards. Three of McMillan’s catches against the Packers came between the numbers, bringing him to 22 for 318 yards and 19 first downs (tied for second most) this season. He owns a 26.1% threat rate and a 76.6 PFF receiving grade between the numbers. He also ranks in the top 10 in explosive gains (10) and yards after the catch per reception (5.5) within that area of the field.
    • At least we don't need to hear overreacting about towels ...
    • Actually there is, try being a Charlotte Hornets fan. I mean the team fuging moved at its peak and hasn't recovered since and that was 25 years ago
