You call plays for the team you have.

 

Exactly, it's not hard to figure it out...the Steelers have actually been running the game plan that we should be using. They have done quick passes and screens all game.

 

Yet Shula with a suspect OL and hardly any speed at WR calls long developing plays and deep ins/outs and posts....just fail.

Some untimely penalties have killed us. Two long defensive PI leading to FGs and then we have been faced with a bunch of 2nd and longs due to holding or facemask penalties. We need to clean this stuff up. 

 

Now I know its a fun thing to bash Shula but that 3rd and 1 call was something we all wanted, a bootleg but Bersin got blown up negating that. Also we have done a pretty good job passing the ball but then get a penalty when we get on the other side of the 50. 

 

I know you all are going to say we only got 3 pts. Well we only got the ball 4 times!!! One time was a 3 and out. One was a FG. The other 2 we were driving and then stupid penalties. Clean it up!

Football players play hurt.

Cam played hurt last week.

If he's no further injured than he was last week, you want to pull him and just give up this game?

Using your logic, we can always play the backup QB and leave Cam on the sideline. He'll never get hurt over there.

Cam a little more hurt that last week....man was limping terribly.

      Some people will shift the goal posts but he does still have to consistently help the team win, eventually. Not only help but be the reason. That's what franchise QB's do.

ESPN's David Newton recently chatted with outside linebacker Pat Jones II, who signed with the Panthers as a free agent earlier this offseason. Jones comes over from an awfully impressive Minnesota Vikings defense—one that ranked first in takeaways (33), fourth in sacks (49) and second in QB pressure rate (44.4 percent) this past season. And despite a historically-bad campaign by Carolina's defense in 2024, the 26-year-old seems to believe his new unit can be similar—or even better—than his last.       5 total TDs against the Falcons was pretty good efficiency and he showed that ability to go off scripts and get 2 of those TDs rushing.  How many times did he deliver big time throws against pressure.  I agree we need to see this offense operate at high efficiency which starts with Bryce. When he does I hope the goals posts won’t shift to some other stat like QB sneaks lol
