OR FREAKIN HAND THE BALL OFF TO STEPHEN HILL ON OCCASIONS ALA CORADELLE PATTERSON OR PERCY HARVIN AND GIVE OUR FREAKING OFFENSE AT LEAST AN OCCASIONAL BURST OF SPEED???

So, you want to waste a game day roster spot on ONE play (a jet sweep, most likely) on a position guy from the PS that only plays on offense, thus also decreasing the time he can spend developing in our system due to active roster-practice squad restrictions? I understand your frustrations, but GET IT TOGETHER, MAN,

I'm not going to get worked up about anything until we see somebody on the damn field. I went and watched youtube of the Treetrunk guy we just cut and thought he was Jim Brown incarnate. I'm just going to wait until somebody gets a number on game day and hope for the best.

LaMichael James had two carries for zero yards last year and some of y'all are stamping your feet for him like he's LT or something. Like whoever we sign now isn't gonna be cut so fast when Tolbert makes his way back

waaat??

one person mentioned his name as just a suggestion with another player.

just one.

just a suggestion w/o commentary.

Did you see ANY sparks of speed whatsoever in our last game?

Coraddelle Patterson took three handoffs for over 100 yards. It would not be a waste to hand the ball off to a man with a 4.3 forty. What could it possibly hurt?

I guess you would rather see a whole bunch of hits on our QB because no one respects our oline or the run game speed.

And as far as a roster spot, what's Fozzy (for example) contributed one bit?

    • Reasonable. I mean I didn’t see a clear path to relief this season myself. As I have typed already, I think the QB FA class is more interesting next season and that draft is supposed to be stacked as well. There just weren’t many options this year.  When you have Tepper to contend with you have to tread lightly around this unless you are 100% certain and willIng to stake your job on it.   There were a couple of outings that helped Bryce a lot in terms of  thinking maybe he can do this, and if you are a supporter you are giving them a lot of weight. You are likely to think just get him some more help and he can do that every week. Which I think Tepper falls into that category.  And the playoffs, division champs, regardless of the way I see that, the supporters will also give that a lot of weight.    And the big one, the atmosphere In BOA for that WC game, Tepper had to be soiling himself over that. If you pulled Bryce out right now you had better be right and your new guy had better make the playoffs and look good doing it or you will be gone and your chance to build your old team back into respectability will be gone too.  So here we have Pickett on a one year deal, and Grier and King. I understand it.
    • Well, seeing as we play the Lions at home this year, pretty sure that rumor isn't true.
    • Totally possible imo, I also caught that snippet from Morgan where he said “If” we sign him. The lack of competition says otherwise tho 🤷‍♂️
