Shula lead Panthers now 0-6 when opposing team scores more than 20 points

Shula should be fired just like the Ravens fired their inept OC during their SB run....Panthers organization has never shown any guts though so don't expect any significant changes...just more status quo...after all that's how we show the world how to go 20 seasons in the NFL without back to back winning seasons.

I've never been real vocal on him but as of today I've lost complete confidence in Mike Shula. I can't take it with the first down runs up the middle anymore. He's not a modern day coordinator. He's an unimaginative hack calling 1970s football and his ineptitude is such that only the 85 bears defense or their equivalent can compensate for

He's terrible, but I'm not sure there's an OC in the league that can win with this OL with our D giving up the amount of points they've surrendered in the past two weeks.

Bullsh*t. You would be surprised at what a competent O Coordinator could do with this offense. Just take the Giants offense as an example. They were one of the worst offenses last year and had one of the worst O-line in the league. Ben McAdoo comes in, implements his west coast offense, now they are looking explosive now.

Its embarrassing that we don't have no huddle in the playbook or a two minute drill. With Benjamin on the outside and Olsen inside its almost a no brainer to go no huddle on some possessions because those two are mismatches and are harder to stop when not using the full play clock on every damn possession.

Either Shula and Ron are morons or Cam isn't smart enough to run a no huddle offense. Bring back Chud

I normally don't get too crazy even after incredibly shitty losses

But that guy needs to be relieved of his duties

yea. i'm actually a major shula supporter. but only because of the way this team is built. its a well oiled machine.

when one part of that machine isn't operating like it should you would hope some changes would be made to offset that one part.

nothing was changed. he acted like we were down by 3 or up by 7. it was flat out embarrassing. this loss was on the coaches as much as the players.

This team could be competent offensively if it had 1 of 2 things

1) an OC that understood his team's strengths and weaknesses and knew how to play around them accordingly

2) a strong OL that compensated for the dated, predictable failings of it's OC

literally if we had just one of those we'd be a pretty good offense. but we have both. coming into the season, we knew we had both-and the complaceny from management about it is where they receive their portion of the blame.

    • "If you could change any one instant in Carolina Panther history, ... just ONE, ... what would it be? Initial gut reaction when I first thought of this question is Kasay kicks it in bounds on the kickoff, but unfortunately I still think New England wins that game even with that My second instinct was pulling Bene out before he breaks his leg in the playoffs. My crackpot theory is if he never gets hurt we win the superbowl. I refuse to go back and watch the game but at some point Peyton throw an absolute duck that should have been pick 6'd. but because we were on our like fifth outside corner he was slow to the ball. this would have completely flipped that game because I'm pretty sure Denver scored that drive and the next one was the Cam sack fumble
    • The Patriots win the 2015 AFC Championship game.
    • 1a. Drafted Tom Brady in the 5th round. 1b. Might be an unpopular opinion, but when Reid was let go in Philly, k would have fired Rivera and brought him in. It was obvious he was an offensive genius. Coaches like Reid don't come available often.
