CBS Sports Mock Draft

We definitely need a rebuilt offensive line. Personally I think we need to go after a good free agent at LT though. Maybe pick a RT up in the draft. However...the A&M tackles worry me. Joekel has been a flat out bust and Matthews hasn't been impressive either. So who knows which way you go with that pick but if it's a top 10 pick it better be an impact player.

we would have too spend some major bank or either trade some major assets in order to acquire a good LT through FA.so,i believe acquiring a RT through FA would be the more ideal approach with all of the monetary restrictions our front office is currently faced with, imho.

Self righteous fan that doesn't get jokes alert:

No, I completely understand that what he said was sarcastic. I simply used what he said as an example because a lot of fans feel that way. When you claim to be a Panther fan that doesn't watch to watch your team play you're just a fan of the NFL who happens to follow the Panthers. Not an actual fan.

Obviously.'

But what about if you wish you didn't want to watch them play even though you still want too?

I believe we won't sign Hardy and have some cash to address the OT spot through free agency. I think that is far saver way to go nowadays. First round OTs are getting to the point where even the SUREFIRE NO 1s aren't that good. If you are going to take future left tackle. You bring him in as a RT and groom him for the LT spot. Remember J. Gross started on the right side as well.

On a side note. Did anyone see the TCU/WV game. That safety for WV I believe his name is Joseph. Good God that is a hard hitting SOB. I saw him flat out level a couple of ball carriers last Saturday. Just amazing.

he's grading out better than the likes of ben grubbs, mike pouncey, jahri evans, logan mankins, and some other notables

he's played well, especially for a rookie and will be a good piece going forward if he continues to develop.

I agree.  He's one of the few that have stood out to me, in a mostly good way, when watching them play.  Basically, I notice his play, when I'm not specifically looking for him.  There's another that has caught my eye when not watching for them... Norwell.

i truly think hes in a league all of his own regarding LTs in college, right now.even Gil Brandt believes he has the talent to possibly go No.1 overall.

I said it before the season that he has all the tools and physical attribute to be the no.1 overall pick. He's the kind of guy that GMs like. Similar to Eric Fisher, but he can actually play OT.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
