He was known as one of the most friendly and team oriented guys in Philly.  They loved him.  

 

If Philly can love the guy...something legit has to be going wrong for him to speak out.  What he spoke out against must be more than just him in the locker room if it came to the point of cutting him.   

 

This makes the Staff look very weak and shows they have no control over the locker room outside of deciding who to cut and keep.

And yeah, they could've cut Harper easily.  He has no guaranteed money on his multi-year deal.  

 

I don't get this unless what Avant has said is reverberating throughout the locker room which I bet it has.  If he spoke about it to the Observer, you gotta think there's more than a handful wishing we had balls in the locker room.

      I agree with OP notion, QBs always get credited for game winning drives even if they do minimal. Just last night Caleb got credited for a GE drive when they basically ran the ball the whole drive and only had to go 36 yards.   And there are drives where Bryce could of had a game winning drive if not for a Legette drop vs Philly or a Chubba fumble vs Tampa

      You are actually, genuinely comparing Bryce to Jimmy fuging Pickles? Jimmy accounted for 3 touchdowns in his 10 starts in 2010. In Bryce’s 10 games post benching last year, he accounted for 20 touchdowns. Jimmy threw three touchdowns in 2010. Three. Bryce has thrown 10 touchdowns through 6 games. He is currently on track to throw for 3300 yards, 28 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Wtf are we even talking about anymore. I mean seriously

      Tepper? The guy that directs the coaches towards goals that he set for them… that guy. He is the one.    I don’t think he ever was going to be expelled from class, they had him come in for garbage time maybe the 2nd week he was benched.  I will say this. People said he wasn’t under pressure the last part of the year when he did better, but he was fighting for his career and that’s pressure. And he saved his career too. I don’t reject him for those kinds of things I reject him for the physical things. I have always brought it down to he has slim margin for error and has to be perfect. People with the tool set have a little fatter margin for error. Why make it harder on yourself? Got nothing to do with hating him.  I am no statistician but game that margin thing out a lot and see how that works.
