Goldie locks has to be benched immediately

It's very ironic.... just last week I was telling a fan at the ATL game that the reason I love Bersin is the fact that he's smart. While you can't expect a big play you can expect a very basic fair catch, or taking whatever he can get straight up.

This week was very boneheaded and I am sure he will rebound.

But I began to have flashbacks during the game.

He most certainly needs to be replaced, or at least COACHED by someone other than Richard fuging Rogers.  Why hasn't he been told to GET THE fug OUT OF THE WAY if you're not going to catch it?!  Why did he RUN UP to the ball on at least the first three punts and DAMN fuging NEAR turn the ball over numerous times?!!?  I was yelling on every punt up to and including the turnover to get the fug away from the ball.  I don't hate Bersin for it.  That's on Rogers (and by extension, Rivera).  Someone needs to do their gd job and coach that poo out of the kid.

exactly. idk why it is so hard for us to find a guy who can return a punt or at least catch the kick

Bc we try to make NFL returners out of guys who aren't them...

We knew in camp we didn't have one. Instead of getting one we do what we do.

No excuse for it really

No need to over react. Yes he made a mistake but he's been reliable all year. People who want philly Brown.. LOL shall we rewind to the Pittsburgh game?

I wouldn't call him reliable. I almost have an aneurysm every time he is back there.

I do REALLY want to understand what was going on in his head on the contacted punt.  You SLIDE INTO THE BALL...WITH YOUR HANDS UP?!?! That was asking for NOTHING but disaster.  Thank goodness we came away with the win.

*Also did anyone see CJ give him the WTF face???  He is very good for that haha

we probably would have beaten arizona 34 doughnut if it wasn't for his early fug up handing momentum back to the cardinals

i've watched that replay over and over and i still have no idea what the hell he was doing on his first muff.  it's like he thinks his donger is a gravity gun and it'll suck the ball into his body if he gets on his knees.

Yea, as long as he falls down on his knees.

I do not trust Bersin at returner.

He has caught everything this season. So your point is invalid. He has only gone down to his knee a few times to secure a catch. Whatever it takes. It's a fair catch anyways, so why does it matter? He is better than anyone else we have tried back there so just fuging deal with it.

    • You joke, but it can always be worse. He might walk with a limp or need assistance. Different sport, but Lonzo Ball couldn't even walk up steps a year after his injury.
    • I mean... a lot of the information that could've helped set better expectations has always been out there: There was no RB on the team under contract for the 2025 - 2026 season except for Miles Sanders. The team did not have a second round pick going into the 2025 season due to the trade for Young. Chuba's extension did not happen until the beginning of November. Jonathon Brooks was the clear RB1 in the class with a massive gap between RB1 & RB2. Example: Dane Brugler had Brooks as RB1, overall #48; Blake Corum was RB2, #81 overall. The Giants held pick #47 and had just lost Saquon Barkley to the Eagles in free agency. They were going to take Brooks had the Panthers not jumped in front of them. So if we're framing things with that context: Chuba was expected to be RB1 Miles (at the time) was RB2 Brooks was essentially RB3, stashed for rehab in 2024 with a long runway. The original injury occurred Nov 2023 while the re-injury occurred December 2024. That is right in the high-risk window for recurrence, especially in explosive athletes. The fact that it also happened on a non-contact play suggests possible biomechanical issues such as muscle imbalance, rather than a failed surgery (or bad decision-making).   NFL teams invest heavily in medically vetting prospects. If there had been a clear red flag in imaging or recovery markers, the team is going to find it. This sucks and the Panthers have sucked, yes, but this wasn't blind optimism or malpractice by the front office. It was a calculated decision based on the roster, draft capital, positional scarcity, etc.
    • Yep, but they can all rotate with Brown, Brown and Robinson (sounds like a law firm). Can't continue to have Derrick Brown out there for 90+ percent of the defensive snaps. An injury was bound to happen.
