Meanwhile on the Falcons board....

Ahh, they didnt fire their GM. He'll screw it up by trading the farm for another 1st round pick or something and screw that team for another 3 years.  Notice the butterfly effect of the Julio trade,... much like ours with Otah followed by Everette. Well especially Everette-- Otah actually worked out for us and contributed heavily to the 2008 season being a success. Everette and Armanti were the worst,..... just giving up too much for busts.  Julio is awesome, but its a 53 man team. Just a big no no.

Notice Buffalo is without a coach now because of a similar trade up for Sammy. No disrespect to Sammy, but trading the farm for one player, Griffin says hello in Washington, is just too big a give up for just about anyone.

So without firing their GM, draft picks dont matter.

I could tell when the cardinals got that safety they would have won easy with a decent qb??????????????????? That was given intentionally you utter moron.

That post right there was concrete evidence at how simple minded the average NFL viewer is and that board is loaded with them

Their current situation reeks of post-2008 Panthers. Make the head coach the sacrificial lamb and thinking that will change things up while continuing to ignore that the GM is the problem.

How many second chances is Dimitroff going to get? Credit for Matt Ryan and Julio Jones should only get you so far. Heck, Hurney drafted Kuechly and he was out six games into his rookie season.

The thought was he could save his job if he shored up the offensive and defensive lines, and we saw how that worked out. Now he wants to hire Josh McDaniels as head coach.

If your rivals are encouraged by the moves your franchise is making, you're making the wrong moves.

    • The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.
    • I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.
    • lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
