Carolina's D is playing at the 2013 level, which means arguably the best defense in the league.

 

 

The Seahawks are going to struggle on offense. The key will be for Carolina to convert in the redzone and not turn it over. I think they take care of business and win handedly.

The good thing is... nobody else thinks we stand a fuging chance except for the coaching staff and the 53 man roster. Everything to gain, nothing to lose. Its on them, not us. We can free ball all the way to the victory.

all the back and forth trash talk is fun and all but i really doubt we get the win there.  if we can hang with them and we aren't blown out of the stadium in the first half like in 2005 i think that's not bad all things considered.

PhillyB already laid out all of the reasons in his thread. No one thought the Seahawks would dominate the Broncos the way they did in the Super Bowl, so anything is possible, but I don't think it goes that way for us. Things are finally starting to click for us at just the right time.

What's your gameplan to victory? Any reasons besides how "we're due" or "we're a team of destiny" or "I have a feeling"?

 

I think we lose 31-13, similar to the Sunday Night Football game in New Orleans last year. We've improved and we've had a successful season where I can see us making a Super Bowl run next year, but at the end of the day, we still have Byron Bell at LT and presumably Brenton Bersin at punt returner.

 

You think we will lose?  I think we win.  Close but a win.

Most analytics experts agree this year's Seahawks team is the best in at 7 years, maybe since the Patriots dynasty of the early '00s. There's no shame to losing to a juggernaut like this. I look at the Seahawks current roster and coaching staff and I don't see any weaknesses. But we have a great young core, we're getting out of cap hell, and we have a great GM. Don't be surprised to see us in the Super Bowl next year, but beating Seattle in Seattle on Saturday? Come on man.

I do love watching Wilson have to run for his life. Everyone forgets he's 5'10" and has to drop back farther to see over the line.

The way this D is playing we absolutely have a chance to pull out the W. They've struggled to score points for much of the year as is. I think we hold them to under 20 points.

 

Play smart mistake free football, don't have any massive boneheaded screw-ups, offense puts up 20-24 points. That's enough for a win.
