Do you guys think our game vs Seattle film will be critical for Packers

The Seahawks will not play the same defense. Against Cam they used some spy/zone concepts to keep him in the pocket and force throws. That won't be the case with Aaron Rodgers. Green Bay doesn't run the zone read either. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention Green Bay doesn't throw on 1st and 10 from the jumbo package to Brenton Bersin.

This is probably the only board where this doesn't sound funny.. but the Panthers as of this weekend were a more difficult matchup for the Seahawks than the Packers are.  Pass oriented teams do not fare well against this defense.  And then you throw in Rodgers having next to no mobility?  That's huge.

I respect the hell out of Rodgers, but I think Green Bay is walking into a buzzsaw.  The only way I can see an upset take place is if Eddie Lacy runs wild and we turn the ball over.

The Packers are also a significantly different team away from Lambeau.

Yea I just can't see Seattle losing to anyone that's left.  I think Carolina had the best shot at beating them.  Besides Seattle, Carolina had the best defense of all the playoff teams and Russell Wilson still gouged us going 8 for 8 on third down with 2 TDs.  Green Bay's defense won't be able to stop Wilson and neither can the Patriots or the Colts defense.  Factor in their opportunistic defense and they're going to coast to another Superbowl.

My feelings on Seattle:

    • Exactly He's played two seasons and started 28 games. He's well beyond the point of being able to point to 2 or 3 games and being able to say, "THAT is the QB he is and will be in the future" Of course he can get there, but anyone trying to use just those couple of games to rank his place amongst the games QB's today and their full career's worth of playing at that level, is just asinine. Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, Burrow, Hurts, Herbert, Daniels, Stafford, Goff, Geno, Purdy, Baker, Love, Dak, Tua, Kyler, Lawrence That's 17 QB's right there that have played better over their careers than Bryce has played at his best.  And I'm not saying they're all studs or guys I'd want to be our QB moving forward, Tua for example I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole, but his body of work is a million times better than Bryce's has been. It's also not including any of the other QB's drafted in 2023/2024 other than Daniels. So again, say you believe in Bryce, say you think he's going to prove he can and should be our QB of the future, that's all fair and totally fine. But nobody can say he's been an above average QB in his career thus far, it's just an asinine notion.
    • I'd think we could get one of those from Dallas for... whatever.
