Sorry, phone is not letting me link but per David Newton/ESPN, Carter had dinner with both Rivera and Gettleman lastnight followed by a work lout with Proehl. We all knew we had a workout for him but it's worth noting he actually had dinner with the HC and GM and more often than not, in the NFL, dinners translate to someone getting signed. I might be reading too much into this but I don't think it's common for a player workout/visit to also be accompanied by a dinner date with the top two decision makers of the organization.
