Sounds like the Bucs will pick Jameis Winston

Winston isn't maturing--to mature, you suffer through consequences for your actions.  He has had Jimbo kissing his arse, etc, getting away with rape, and now he is going to have millions of dollars in his pocket given to him by an NFL team that accepts his lifestyle. He really has to think he can do whatever he wants.

Maybe Lovie will be the guest speaker at the next NOW meeting where he can elaborate on his comments.

Winston is not that outta control, dude. The kid is a smart kid. He was accepted at Stanford University. He's just playful. Top recruits on college campuses normally aren't charged for eating on Campus.  If you notice he didn't even try to hide the food. He's just a playful cat. Lovie, Lewis, Tomlin are more likely to understand him. So, he's lucky if he lands with Lovie. We all have a brother or cousin like that. Nothing a serious talk can't solve.

Ah, yes....only a black coach and understand a "playful QB"...I got it.

He stole food.

Screamed a very dumb comment on the heels of a rape accusation, etc....

Dez is a WR, Jameis is a QB, things are different.  That said, if I made him the face of my franchise, and I would have no issue doing so, I would have a bodyguard/bird dog on him for a couple years until I had faith he had matured.

Kid can play, and if I were in the number 1 spot, I would take him.

Or maybe not.....

GBNReport

Shoulder issue for QB Winston … More to come but Florida State QB Jameis Winston is reportedly undergoing medical tests to determine the cause of some weakness in his throwing shoulder. Needless to say if this turns out to be more than just some extra caution on the part of NFL medical people it could have a major impact on the early going at this year’s draft. The extra testing likely also explains why Winston inexplicably was not part of yesterday’s media interviews for QBs and why he may be waffling about throwing during tomorrow’s on-field drills for offensive skill people.

He's interviewing really really well right now. Kind of hoping the Bucs don't end up taking him. I wouldn't be too worried because Lovie is a terrible HC for young QBs, but I'm starting to like Winston and don't want him in our division.

It's a done deal already. Sounds like bucs told him he's their pic.

By ignoring what he has done, showing no remorse or shame, I am not convinced that anything he is saying is more than bullsh$t.  He has never been given reason to assume anything he does has consequences.  He actually walked away from the microphone as if he fooled the room.  He will screw up again. I promise.  He thinks he is the belle of the ball.

The thing that pissed me off more than anything was the line of questions he got.  It was as if they were planted.  Damn, Cam swipes a computer and that is all they talk about--this guy rapes a girl and they ask him questions like, "Do you want to be the first pick?"

I am telling you, he has not matured.  He has been coached. Smiling?  Calling himself "The face of the franchise?" I would not want the face of my team to be an accused rapist. Why did they not ask that question?
